Sarah Munn
Sarah provides Animal and Equine Assisted Therapy programs for allied health professionals and teachers. Designed into Levels One, Two and Three, these programs will coach you through setting up your business or programs and how to deliver goal focused and effective support for your clients.
Sarah has worked in healthcare since 1989 and qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 1996, working initially with adults and children with mental health, developmental and learning disabilities and community paediatrics in London. Then as the senior clinician OT in neurology and neurosurgery at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in London.
Since starting her own practice Barefoot Therapists in 2012, Sarah has focused on outdoor programs and her own post graduate training. Sarah has studied Equine Facilitated Learning, Therapy Dogs Australia Clinical Course and Certificate of Creative Mindful Education for Children.
Sarah sits on the Victoria & Tasmania committee for Animal Therapies Ltd. She also sits on the National Professional Practice and Standards Committee for Occupational Therapy Australia and convenes their interest group ‘Animal Assisted Therapy and Assistance Dogs’ with Claire Dickson at Assistance Dogs Australia.

Professional Animal Assisted Allied Health & Teaching Coaching Program
Level One coaching programs will help you to set goals and develop your practice and skills to include animals/horses, and husbandry, in your professional Animal Assisted Therapy Practice. We cover competencies, AHPRA and insurance expectations and lots of practical support.
Who is it for?
Occupational therapists who are qualified and AHPRA registered or returning to practice with a strong commitment to including animals in their clinical practice.
Time Commitment: 10 weeks part time – zoom and workbook content.
AAT/EAT LEVEL 2
Horsemanship and Hands-On Practice Workshop for Equine Assisted Therapists
This hands-on, practical 3 day program will help you develop your horsemanship and clinical skills. By the end of this workshop you will feel competent to develop your professional Equine Assisted Therapy Practice to include people and horses working together.

Who is it for?
Allied Health Professionals and Teachers who are qualified and registered and have satisfactorily completed the Barefoot Professional Equine Assisted Coaching Package Level One, or similar training.
